Would rate as a five star game if you were able to use a controller to play like how we grew up playing NBA Jam than to use the keyboard. I downloaded the game thinking I would be able to use a controller. I have a IBuffalo controller and it is recognized by the mac but when trying to use it on the NBA Jam app, it is a no go. Please fix and allow gaming with a controller (multiple contoller capabilities) please.

WORST APP EVER! You go to the app store and spend money on a game that takes forever to download and crashes before it even opens. There is nothing else to say, just DONT GET IT!

Everything I hoped for this game has, GREAT graphics, sound, and gameplay BUT the controls are VERY awkward. Def needs a controller option or at least the option to use the arrow keys to move around. using A, W, S, D to move around is just not working for me. Though the game itself is so amazing I still play it despite the controls, worth getting, just be warned that you might get the urge to punch your keyboard here and there.

Spent $9.99 and the screen is just white. My Mac is version 10.6.8 so I dont see why it doesnt work, kinda mad.

My Macbook air 11 doesnt has a resolution of 1280 x 800 and cant play and seriously this is a waste of my money and I am asking for a refund is it possible? THIS IS A WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

THis game absolutly blows first of all i have a mac book air and i didnt even buy the game i was going to then i t automatically took the money off my account and it was purchased. Second for anyone with a mac book air dont get it! From what i can see there is not a correct screen resolution to have and if you do have the screen riight word is that the game will freeze awful game.

The controls in this game are awful. It would be MUCH, MUCH better if you could use the arrow keys or sync a game controller to play the game. PLZ add this option!!!!

Contarary to what some people have reviewed on here, I think this game is great. It offers an array of different modes, with all NBA teams top starts to play as. Through defeating teams in season mode, you can unlock old legends, or in some cases mascots. It is a good, 2 v 2 basketball game where dunking if encouraged. Unlike what many people have reviewed, I feel like the game controls are easy. After one game you pretty much get the feel of what to do. The only reason this is not 5 starts is because on the first day of owning this game it said whenever i try to continue a game i had started the app crashed. With a few updates for an array of different bugs, I think this app is worth the money.

when i opened the application my screen turned white. I then had to shut down my computer. hopefully this problem can be fixed. waste of my money

EA dropped the ball again. The games does not work with a 2011 Macbook Air. EA customer service is terrible. Im personally done supporting EA.

i have this game on iphone its great and i bought it as soon as i saw it because its so great on the iphone but soon found out i couldnt play it becausei have a 11 in 64gb macbook air…I keep wishing they would update it so it can be played on any computer

I have it on IPhone but I have a white screen come up everytime I try to play it!

Turn the full screen off and then you will be able to play the game.

My son cannot play this game on his Mac Mini because the monitor lacks sufficient resolution. Monitor requirements are not listed on the apps page.

NEEDS MULTIPLAYER!!! Then it will be 5 stars!! Controls take some getting use to but no problem after a few rounds. Game runs and plays great on 13" Macbook Pro.

my macbook air screen is too small to play the game, there was no warning of this. all i ask is that EA make this game compatible with the macbook air 11" as it should. I want an update. if you have the same problem write a review about it too

I got the game on a half price weekend so yeah it was worth the $5. However, the controls are all backwards. The arrow keys are arrows for a reason so that you can have some direction. I dont understand why they made the A,S,D,W the directional pad and the arrow keys the power ups. Poor design but a classic game that still brings back great memories.
